ARTrageous Auction 2008 – A Contemporary Arts Auction at the Palm Springs Art Museum

Get ready for the eye-popping ARTrageous Auction 2008, sponsored by the Palm Springs Art Museum's Contemporary Art Council for the purpose of raising funds for acquisitions, programs and exhibitions. All who attend the evening will enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while viewing the museum-quality artwork. After a catered dinner the live auction will begin, conducted by noted auctioneer James G. Niven. The highly acclaimed artists in this auction include: Louise Bourgeois, Alex Katz, Jeff Koons, David Salle, Frank Stella and many others. Sharing the excitement of the heated bidding is part of the experience; it’s absolutely—ARTRAGEOUS! All works to be auctioned will be on exhibition in the Museum on January 25, 26 and 27.
